Logistics and Export Trade Coordinator

The Logistics and Export Trade Coordinator will have responsibility for supporting the international business and trade of Pets Choice brands into overseas markets on all sides of the globe.

Our vast range includes Pet Food, Treats, Toys, Accessories, Health and Hygiene products and our Brands include Webbox, Bob Martin, Tasty Bone, Meatiful and Felight.
We distribute to over 40 countries and to continue our successes in international markets we are now seeking an International Trade support Administrator to join our company. Reporting into our International Trade Compliance Manager.
Role:
- Be a key point of contact for international trade customers and external suppliers.
- Process purchase orders into our ERP system, Dynamic 365 Business Central.
- Monitor inventory and check stock levels of imported and manufactured products.
- Manage and coordinate all logistics of imported and exported products.
- Keep up to date on legislation for all transportation.
- Work cross functionally between procurement, manufacturing and warehousing teams.
- Produce export documentation including veterinary health certificates, commercial invoices and preferential trade certificates.
- Build and maintain relationships with 3rd party providers and our international customer base.
- Attend out of office events including trade clubs and networking events.
- Maintain and develop digital filing systems.
- Process export customs clearances.
- Liaise with agencies including DEFRA, APHA, HMRC and Chamber of Commerce.
- Proactively work to continually improving the role and developing efficiencies where possible.
- Organise transport and delivery of international consignments.
Key attributes and skills:
- Minimum 1 year international trade, supply chain or logistics experience.
- Must be a self-starter with a career interest in international trade, supply chain or logistics.
- Must be resilient and adaptable to change.
- A lateral thinker and solution finder.
- Have a meticulous eye for detail.
- Show a willingness to read and interpret pieces of trade legislation.
- Good communicator and confident working cross functionally.
- Prepared to undertake relevant industry training courses.
