Marketing Assistant

Position Overview:

We are looking for a vibrant, energised and exciting individual to join our team to provide support to the Brand Manager.  We welcome applicants who are eager to learn, develop and build a career in brand and product marketing.    You will be a key part of the marketing team, working across multiple brands.

As an individual, you will have flair and be able to demonstrate good organisational skills and the potential to develop a career in marketing.

This position will ideally be suited to a candidate who has completed a marketing apprenticeship. Or a candidate who has worked previously in an office/ marketing environment.


The location of the role is within a new state of the art head office, alongside its Distribution Centre located on Whitebirk Industrial Estate, Blackburn.

  • To assist the Brand Manager in creating and maintaining a suite of suitable marketing materials, including presentations, sales documents, brochures and exhibition collateral.
  • Assisting Brand Manager with NPD, marketing and research projects.
  • General data administration including updating and generating NPD documents.
  • Assisting with the preparation and execution of consumer exhibitions and other events. Attendance is mandatory.
  • Generating and thoroughly proof-reading marketing copy. Checking, cross-referencing and signing off packaging artworks.
  • To ensure that all work produced meets the needs, requirements and brand values of the business.
  • Any ad-hoc duties that are required depending on the demands of the business and needs of the department.
  • Gradually working towards managing small product projects from brief to fulfilment.

The package on offer comprises of a competitive salary based on experience. 

Core working hours are 8.30 – 5.00 with a half hour for lunch, however, due to the nature of the role, some out of hours working will be required.
