Reporting to the Head of Pet Trade, the National Pet Trade Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Field Sales Representatives along with responsibility of managing Key Accounts in the Pet Trade Sector. This is a field based role and responsibilities include:

  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of 3 Pet Trade Field Sales Representatives.
  • Train and support development of the Field Sales Representatives.
  • Involved with recruitment and appraisals.
  • Manage and build relationships with Key Pet Trade accounts.
  • Responsible for P&L and JBPs.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and continue to develop business within the Pet Trade sector.
  • Travel Nationwide.
  • Regular attendance at Head Office.
  • Keep up to date with pet industry news and competitor activity.

Key attributes and skills:

  • Experience of leading and motivating people.
  • Experience of managing Key Accounts with an understanding of field sales and territory management.
  • Knowledge of the Pet Industry.
  • Self motivated, positive and ambitious.
  • Organised.
  • Willing to learn and adaptable.
