PPC Manager

Position Overview:

This is a newly created role for a PPC Manager to join a growing FMCG business and the opportunity to work on several in-house brands! 

The PPC Manager will work within the Pets Choice Marketing team reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager and will be responsible for PPC and Display activity across 6 brand websites. 

The brands within our portfolio are at varying levels of online presence and size so the role will provide an exciting amount of variety in the day to day and interesting challenges for a passionate PPC specialist!

The Pets Choice brand portfolio includes; Webbox, Bob Martin, TastyBone, Meatiful, Spike’s, WildThings, Feathers & Beaky and Vitakraft. Each brand offers a unique insight into animals from dogs to ducks and produces high-quality products that cater to a wide variety of pet consumer needs.


  • Set up and run tailored campaigns across our brand websites from start to finish
  • Work with individual brand managers to ensure strategy is aligned with each brand’s plans and guidelines
  • Create engaging ad copy to assist with conversion
  • Make continuous improvement to campaigns, adjusting bids for underperforming keywords and monitoring keywords performance on an ongoing basis
  • Look for new optimisation opportunities and apply these to campaigns
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and provide insight on MoM and YoY comparisons
  • Monitor competitors and target audience on an ongoing basis. Highlight key trends and opportunities to the wider business
  • Review bidding strategy on a regular basis, ensuring that spend is being allocated across PPC, Display & Shopping Ads channels in the most effective way

Key attributes and skills:

  • At least 2 years experience in PPC with a proven track record of generating results
  • Understanding of PPC best practices
  • Keep up to date with the latest PPC & Digital Marketing trends.
  • Proficient in using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Search Console
  • Experience using CMS platforms to update web content and meta data
  • An open approach to continuous learning and development
  • Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Team player with strong communication skills, confident in providing reports and recommendations to all levels
  • An analytical thinker
  • Results orientated
  • Confident managing own schedule and able to manage time effectively across brands
